The Saturn Chronicles
Embracing wanderlust in the dawn of Saturn’s Return*,
I’ll be taking notes. Of what, you ask? Well, rather simply,
an assortment of things that capture my fancy. I like all
things delicious, many things literary, the intersection of
art and politics, the intersection of arts and crafts, flicks
and tunes, shows and shindigs, and the many relevant
cultural, educational, and community happenings.
Et cetera, et cetera.
* It takes the planet Saturn roughly 29.5 years to run an entire lap around the sun. Which means that as one nears the age of 30, Saturn is in its final stretch to reach the spot it occupied on the day of the person’s birth. Astrologically speaking, this signals a transition into the next phase of life, youth into adulthood, if you will. The span of time leading up to Saturn’s Return (set in motion around age 27, in general estimates, though it may start earlier or later) can often be characterized by upheaval, re-evaluation of life’s direction, and switch-ups in long-term plans.
As for myself, I figure I’ll just spend my cosmically chaotic purgatory gallivanting around New Yorkâfor now, at least.
